Which Cardinals Team Will Show Up Against Chicago?

There has been no more confusing team in this 2009 NFL schedule than the Arizona Cardinals. One game they look like the defending NFC champs that they are and the next game they look like the prison guards from The Longest Yard. Tough to get a read on this team and if it doesn’t come to play, the Bears will make mince meat of the Red Birds at Soldier Field.

Chances are the Cards will have a good showing on the shores of Lake Michigan in Week 9 of the 2009 NFL schedule. This team has been up and down all season and after a rotten performance this group tends to bounce back in a big way, and vice-versa. After a big win in NFL football betting this team tends to fall on its face. And so goes the story of the Cardinals.

The Bears are an average team at best, even with the addition of Jay Cutler at QB. Granted he has no real talent to throw the ball to but he’s also underachieved and so far has been a disappointment in the NFL football odds.

But he should have a decent day at home against a mediocre Cards secondary. He should also see plenty of pressure and will have to make good quick reads, something he’s capable of. The Cards have one of the best run defenses in the NFL and so the burden will rest on Cutler’s shoulders, his game to win or lose.

But even if he puts up some points, the Cards are likely to put up more with their high powered passing game.

The Cards have been hit or miss all season but expect them to hit on Sunday and escape with the win.
