Preview Carolina Panthers vs. New York Giants
Things to watch on tonight’s Monday Night Football preseason game between the Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants… In the first scenario, we have the Carolina Panthers wide receiver Dwayne Jarret… He has been disappointment during his first two seasons with the team. The ex- Southern California Trojans wide receiver has been outstanding during the offseason, now he will have a real chance to compete for the job especially with Steve Smith injured for at least the entire preseason.
Still in the Carolina Panthers side we have the defensive end rookie from Florida State Everette Brown… He has shown great potential during the camp ( of course we will have to wait for the real games ) but if he become an impact player, the Carolina Panthers will have one of the best pass- rushing duos in the league with Everette Brown and Julius Peppers.
Now with the New York Giants… They placed out the veteran wide receivers Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer. They have the rookies Hakeem Nicks and Ramses Barden. While Steve Smith and Domenik Hixon are entrenched as the starters, Nicks and Barden have a chance to carve out primary roles within the offense, depending on their preseason play.
