In Week 4, Brett Favre passed for 271 yards and three touchdowns as the Minnesota Vikings knocked off the Green Bay Packers, 30-23. The Green Bay Packers have won six of the past seven meetings and have a 49-46-1 overall series edge, including the playoffs.
Both teams were on bye last week. After playing for 16 years with the Packers, Favre heads back to Lambeau Field as an opposing player for the first time. Last time they meet the Vikings escaped with a 28-27 over the Packers when Mason Crosby missed a 52 yards field goal wide right as time expired in week 10 of last season. The Packers have won five of six to take a 49-46-1 overall series lead, (including the playoffs). Last week the Packers went on the road to beat the Rams, 36-17, behind three total touchdowns from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
