Jets Look to Get Back in Groove against Jags

The New York Jets have already had enough drama in eight weeks of the 2009 NFL schedule to last eight seasons. With rookie head coach Rex Ryan a seemingly endless supply of quotes and the New York media churning out headlines nonstop the Jets have had plenty of coverage, both good and bad. After starting the season 3-0 and then going 1-4 in the next five games this team has already had some major ups and downs and the season is just halfway over.

The San Diego Chargers (4-3) and the New York Giants (5-3) are two teams on very different trajectories so far during the 2009 NFL schedule. The G-men jumped out of the gates to a 5-0 start and were the toast of the football world until they dropped three straight. The Chargers stumbled out of the gate with a 2-3 start before winning two in a row and playing themselves back into division title contention.
There has been no more confusing team in this 2009 NFL schedule than the Arizona Cardinals. One game they look like the defending NFC champs that they are and the next game they look like the prison guards from The Longest Yard. Tough to get a read on this team and if it doesn’t come to play, the Bears will make mince meat of the Red Birds at Soldier Field.
The New Orleans Saints’ unbeaten start has come entirely outside the NFC South, but a seventh straight victory could give them a crystal-clear path to a division title.
In case you missed the beginning games of the 2009 NFL schedule, the Arizona Cardinals are now one of the hottest teams in the NFC and in first place in their division. The notoriously slow-starting Red Birds have finally seemed to found their groove and after a beat down of the Giants in New York will look to continue their red hot run at home against a struggling Panthers squad.
