Injuries around the Philadelphia Eagles

Posted By: titans-fan

I was surfing the net and found this… Take a look at www.sbgglobal.com they have a FREE weekly $15,000 handicapping contest for the NFL season.…pretty cool!

It looks like this is not the perfect starting of the preseason for the Philadelphia Eagles, their first case is the experienced running back Brian Westbrook, his ankle is giving him some problems again. Now during the training camp his Guard/Offensive Tackle Shawn Andrews and Jason Peters 27 years old Offensive tackle are out of full practice, their injuries don’t look that serious but they will have to rest for sure. Finally, on Sunday night their Linebacker Stewart Bradley suffered a spine injury, something that we know better as a stinger.

If we start thinking now on the regular season this is not good news at all for the Philadelphia Eagles fans… If their players are getting injured now, what’s going to happen when they start the regular season? It’s supposed that the players should be full health by the time that the season starts, but what will happen if they are not?

I would say their biggest concern is the running back position… If Brian Westbrook is unable to play the player to start would be LeSean McCoy, their 21 years old rookie, and that’s not the worst part, the scouting reports said that his passing game is great but he could be lacking in the running game, the worst part for the Philadelphia Eagles.

>Now with Stewart Bradley is out for the beginning of the season, the replacement in this case will be Joe Mays or Charleston Hughes… Let’s face it… They both can contribute to the defense pretty good, but for sure they won’t be able to put up the same number of Stewart Bradley, if he gets injured again that would be a big problem for the Philadelphia Eagles defensive line.

If this gets to happen, the projected playoff run for the Philadelphia Eagles could be over before starts…
