Green Bay Looking to Bounce Back at Home vs. Cowboys
Back in the ‘90s, just like in the 2009 NFL schedule, this was a pretty spirited rivalry. But gone are Favre and Aikman and in their place the next generation of gunslingers has emerged in Aaron Rodgers and Tony Romo. These two QBs are some of the finest in the game and it should be a very well executed game at Lambeau.
Green Bay is coming off a terrible embarrassment of a game in Tampa Bay when they were beaten down by what had been the worst team in the NFL football betting odds. There will no doubt be some motivation to get things back on track before the loyal Cheeseheads and stay in the NFL football odds playoff hunt.
The ingredient to beating the Packers this year has been pressuring Rodgers. He has taken about a million sacks already in the 2009 NFL schedule and many people are starting to wonder if he doesn’t have a problem. He’s got to get rid of the ball and quit posting negative yardage.
The Cowboys surely have seen the footage of how Tampa’s weak pass rush got pressure and Rodgers and will execute a similar game plan with much better personnel.
The Cowboys defense is finally starting to heat up and if they can play at a high level this is a very formidable team that can do some damage in the playoffs as the offense is among the league leaders in most statistical categories.
It’s tough to win in Green Bay especially in the cold weather and Romo is due for a bad game.
Still, look for the Cowboys to pick up another NFL football betting win in this one diminish the Pack’s playoff hopes even further.
