But if you need any proof that parity in this league is dead you need look no farther than the beat down in waiting between the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions. This game will feature arguably the best team in the NFL versus the worst team in the NFL and the result won’t be pretty.

These two teams are separated in the NFL football betting lines by 16½ points, one of the biggest spreads of the entire 2009 NFL schedule. And with good reason. Colts Look for Upset in the Desert

On Monday night Indy pulled off one of the most remarkable wins in NFL sports betting history. Holding the ball for less than 15 minutes the entire game the big strike offense led by Peyton Manning managed to pull out a win over host Miami. Preview Colts at Miami

The last time they meet was in week 17 of 2006, Peyton Manning threw two touchdowns and the Colts defeated the Dolphins, 27-22 completing their first perfect home campaign since 1958.
The Dolphins have won four of the last six meetings, this is including the 2000 AFC wild card matchup won by the Dolphins, overall series lead to 46-23. Read more…

Review Minnesota Vikings vs. Houston Texans

What we learn on yesterday’s game between Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans… The quarterback for the Texans Matt Schaub is still fragile… Matt Schaub has been trying to shake the injury bug since being named the Texans’ starting quarterback two seasons ago. He missed five games in each of the last two seasons, he sprained his left ankle on a scramble in the second quarter. The good news for the Texans is that he kept playing on the injured wheel and managed to lead the Texans to a touchdown and field goal before the halftime. Schaub finished 10 of 14 for 108 yards and an interception on yesterday’s game. Read more…
