Kansas City Prepares for Week 11 Whipping from Pittsburgh

This 2009 NFL schedule, the Chiefs have been considered a rebuilding team. And for that reason alone the team can be forgiven some of its awful losses. And that will likely be the case when the Pittsburgh Steelers come to town during week 11 fresh off a loss to bitter division rival Cincy and looking for blood.

Over the past two NFL football betting games the Chiefs are 2-2, which isn’t bad, but it’s the other 5 losses this team has suffered during the 2009 NFL schedule that tip the scales. By any measure, this is a bad team with a very limited offense and porous defense.

It’s the type of team that a squad like the Steelers feasts on. Read more…

Favre at the Lambeau

Brett Favre Minnesota VikingsIn Week 4, Brett Favre passed for 271 yards and three touchdowns as the Minnesota Vikings knocked off the Green Bay Packers, 30-23. The Green Bay Packers have won six of the past seven meetings and have a 49-46-1 overall series edge, including the playoffs.

Both teams were on bye last week. After playing for 16 years with the Packers, Favre heads back to Lambeau Field as an opposing player for the first time. His emotions figure to be high, but he must maintain his focus and keep under control despite his feelings or whatever reaction he gets from the crowd. Read more…

Brett Favre added another feat to his overflowing resume: He’s the first quarterback in history to beat all 32 NFL teams. Favre’s first game against his former team was all fun for the Minnesota Vikings and all frustration for the Packers, as the graying quarterback kept his cool and connected for three touchdown passes and 271 yards in a 30-23 victory on Monday night. Patriots Have Reason to Panic

No one thought it would be easy for the Patriots to dominate the 2009 NFL schedule, but then again no one thought it would be this hard either. The New England Patriots were supposed to be the cream of the crop this year with the return of the great Tom Brady. But instead, it has been a two-week nightmare so far for the Pats. Read more…

Problems with Larry Fitzgerald?

The Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald had 10 receptions for 105 yards and two touchdowns over the first two games of the season. They are not bad numbers, but a little lower than some might have expected after his breakout 2008 playoff run. Fitzgerald has led the NFC in catches and receiving yards over the past two seasons. Though Fitzgerald was tied for 44th in the NFL in receiving yards after Sunday’s 31-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, nobody on the Cardinals is concerned about Fitzgerald becoming the next diva receiver.
